Shotgunner
Hey 49ers forget about Williams! Hire Jim "Playoffs" Mora as your new coach, out of retirement.
Oldskool
Look for the 49ers to raid the OC's of WCO teams such as TB, GB, Seattle, Phi, etc. for a HC candidate
chickenlipper
They need a new owner more than a new coach
riggins44
I'd be surprised if they go after a defensive minded coach. I agree that they'll look for a WCO coach. Pete Carroll has it made at USC, no way does he leave the security for the NFL.
jimster
Actually they're saying Donahue is fired too. I agree, they'll go after an offensive-minded, NFL experienced guy. Childress sounds like a fit, or Denver's OC, Kubiak.
Chopper Dave
God, did anyone watch that press conference? John York is a freakin' disgusting animal. He's up there chewing and cracking on something in his mouth, and chugging water like some kind of beast. I dunno, I'm kinda OCD about stuff like that, but he was absolutely, horrifyingly gross when he was up there. One's personal habits in a public forum is very telling of them as a person, and he came across as vile. Seriously though, just to beat a dead horse, what the hell was in his mouth? He looked like he was storing food for winter!

Westbrook36
York has come out and said he will hire someone who: 1. Has head coaching experience in the NFL. 2. Had a winning record. Given those qualifications, he's pretty much painted himself into a corner with only a handful of guys out there that want to coach who have both.
