If we're still bombing Afghanistan (arguably the poorest, most miserable bit of real estate on earth) after two weeks and bin Laden's still sending out video tapes, our mission will begin to appear inept. bin Laden's influence in the Islamic world would be greatly enhanced by his ability to confound the allied nations searching for him. I don't envision him making too many more tapes while we have planes flying overhead, but, it's possible and, in my view, irrelevant. I don't think we expect to get Bin Laden with air power. I don't think we expect to get Bin Laden with ground troops. I think we expect to get Bin Laden by taking down the Taliban, having another government step in, and pressuring that government to turn him over. That's how I see it playing out. I mean, how long can one survive in a cave, without the daily Milk-Man delivery truck. Or are there goats running around the inside of the caves that he can munch on for a while ? Therefore, I suggest we do neither. Let the SAS, Seals or whoever covertly capture him, fly him to an undisclosed hospital and have surgeons quickly perform a complete sex change operation. You have no problem labeling the content of what others say and failing to read the words, so you should have no problem when others offer the same. I know you prefer to be treated differently than you treat others, so I apologize for forcing that distinction on you here. To be fair though, I tend to present factual data when I write, even when I write from the right. In terms of rhetoric, that tends to be more seen by you, though, I'm not sure you've reached the level of rhetoric. You do more tantrum-like writing, screaming without basis because you fail to grasp an point that dares to differ from your own. Liberal intolerance is a splendid thing to behold. I'm capable of actually carrying on a conversation with someone I don't agree with. I'm even capable of educating those who lack information. I'm open-minded enough to recognize the value of the thoughts of others. Meanwhile, you simply brand anything you don't agree with as ultra right, because that way, you don't have to listen. It's standard fare with too many liberals, but, very overt with you. You and Ru hang out way too much little buddy.
