CLOSING IN ON 500: Washington Redskins fans will welcome back Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach JOE GIBBS on Sunday when Washington hosts the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Gibbs guided the Redskins to a 124-60 (.674) mark from 1981-92, leading the franchise to three Super Bowl victories. A win Sunday would be a milestone for the franchise, making Washington the fourth NFL club with 500 regular-season victories. The NFL’s all-time leaders in regular-season victories:

Yeah it does seem that everything is going right for our team.... Making the 500 club, Getting our Hall of Fame coach back, getting a load of superstars for our team, getting more seats for what I hope results in a louder stadium, oh and my first year with season tickets!!!

Seems to good to be true.... somebody pinch me..

i hope we get this win, I remember last season when we lost all those games at the end, but each week they were saying we might get the 500th win. I actually wanna blowout now. I want our team to come strong, dominate, and shock the league in what we really can do.

He may have until the recent run by Belichick. Belichick is 7 up versus 1 loss with 2 rings. I think Gibbs goes 16 wins versus 5 losses with 3 rings, correct? And actually, now that I think about it, I think Lombardi had a better post season winning percentage as well. I think he only lost two of the however many playoff games he was in.
