Skyward72
I saw this on Spawn.com. Very Nice! http://www.spawn.com/news/news6.aspx?id=12388 SPAWN.COM >> NEWS >> MORE FOOTBALL TWO-PACKS ADDED ... MORE FOOTBALL TWO-PACKS ADDED TO FALL SCHEDULE Deluxe Boxed Sets Set to Feature Two Different Sorts of Rivalries June 11, 2004 McFarlane Toys is proud to unveil the remaining two boxed sets for this fall's NFL Sports Picks series. The first -- and already announced -- boxed set features Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb vs. New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan. This NFC East rivalry-themed two-pack is scheduled to arrive in stores in early July. The next offering focuses on a different sort of competition: sibling rivalry. When Eli Manning was drafted first overall in this year's NFL draft, he received the chance to not only follow in his father Archie's footsteps, but to compete on the same level and at the same time as his older brother Peyton. The Indianapolis Colts quarterback will be featured alongside his little brother, the new QB of the future for the New York Giants. The Manning brothers will be passing your way this September. >> THE MANNING BROTHERS TWO-PACK Our final NFL two-pack on the 2004 schedule zeroes in on a regional rivalry. Though the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens don't share much head-to-head history on the football field, those two fan bases have spent years arguing back and forth. McFarlane Toys takes a look at those "feuding neighbors" and sets up a possible confrontation between Baltimore's fearsome linebacker Ray Lewis and Washington's newest weapon, running back Clinton Portis. This boxed set will be arriving in stores in October. Stay tuned to the News section and also our Sports message board for more information and upcoming photos of these Sports Picks sets. buzzlightbeer81
I want a skins figure, the redskins have been seriously snubbed by mcfarlane, even if the team hasnt been good, some of the biggest names have been on our team, Coles, LaVar, Champ Bailey. Instead they now have TWO Vicks, TWO emmitt smiths, TWO of a lot of other players, all we ever got was Davis who is now a panther. PFFFTTTT!! Skyward72
I wouldn't be surprised to see a Redskins Portis varient figure in the next set. I read somewhere else that there wasn't enough time to add a Lavar figure as they need up to 10 months to produce a figure. Lavar didn't sign his new deal fast enough. I think we will see him next year.
DaRock
At least we got put up against one of the best LBs....I'll def. buy that one..The customs just aren't the same...
TK
Lewis vs Portis? I'll take the Portis figure. As for Lewis, well I still have a few firecrackers left.
ntotoro
Does the Lewis figure come with his own lawyer dolls and a prison scene? :logo: Sorry... I know... it's early... Nick
gridironmike
This is a new pose for Portis (opposed to the poses they had him in for the Broncos/Pro Bowl), so we'll probably see a Portis stand alone. Lavar should be in Series 11. I could see a Taylor figure in the works too.
SlinginSammy HOF '63
I love the customs. A 15 yr old kid made me a custom lavar in his 70th uni and it looks factory made. I wish I would've kept his email address. His work is amazing. I have other customs too and I like them better than the factory stuff because they're figs you'll never see in the stores. I had a guy customize a 12" Sammy Baugh and he even made the leather helmet out of clay. I have made Bobby Mitchell and Eddie Lebaron myself and have Art Monk paint job complete. Just need decals. SlinginSammy HOF '63
I agree that Mcfarlane is getting bad about making doubles. Many of their new ones are now are doubles. I wouldn't look for Lavar until next fall.

SlinginSammy HOF '63
Stupidsuck does Fantastic work for moderns. Stupidsuck is his name here too. If you want a custom from pre 1960 then a guy on the Mcfarlane board named "JAMF79" is the way to go. His work is amazing.
