TheDane
Maybe the guy that scored that "sweet" Taylor jersey will be the high bidder here, too. http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=60696&highlight=sean+taylor+jersey+ebay

Ancalagon the Black
Dude, someone should report this crap.
panthro
I don't think that the listing is claiming that the jersey is authentic or Joe's real jersey, but instead that the autograph is authentic.
TC4
The very fact that it has "This is not a cheap knock off" in the description indicates that someone is trying to cover up the fact that THIS IS A CHEAP KNOCKOFF!!!!
NavyDave
Its not a knockoff.......... just because its made in china or Turkey is a coincidence

Check this link, which has the same autographed photo that's on the ebay link, only larger. Joe doesn't fill out the letters on his autograph. http://www.prosportsmemorabilia.com/fullsize/WM2-097.jpg
matty dread
does anyone actually buy these cheap, homemade jerseys? I mean seriously most of them look like absolute garbage, even the ones that look ok still don't look anything close to authentic.
redskns21
Here are the results of an email that I sent him yesterday. Question from eBay Member: WASHINGTON REDSKINS JOE THEISMAN SIGNED TB JERSEY GAI $ (4132187702) Dear legendsauctionhouse, How could this be authentic and verified if the name isn't spelled correctly? Nice try dude! To view the item, go to: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4132187702 Thank you, redskns48 His reply... dear buyer.. what is spelt wrong????, i assure you that this jersey is 100% authentic and the name is not spelt wrong anywhere on it. the authentication comes from global authentication and we can get you a number if you would like, however this jersey is 100% authentic, and the name is spelt correctly. legendsauctionhouse My reply back... http://www.redskins.com/team/history-career.jsp Check the link to the official Washington Redskins web page. Note the spelling of Theismann, he is the first one listed. Your jersey has his name spelled as Theisman which is wrong. So again I ask, how can this be authentic? Would you sign a jersey if your name was spelled incorrectly?

I wish I was at home so I could put a picture of the ball on here. He does not spell out his last name.

If you look at the auction he has an 8.5" by 11" that was signed by Theismann that he attached to the auction, you can tell that the signatures are different. I hate people that make a living stealing from people.
Symbol
I totally concur with you. Misspelling on the jersey, different signatures. What next, we take a closer look and realise that it's Jim?
