I don't know why this did not show up... here it is:>

SELECTED BY WASHINGTON , ROUND 6, PICK 15, OVERALL PICK 180

OT | (6'5", 308, 5.09) | NOTRE DAME | COLLEGE STATS

Data from Scouts, Inc.

Grade: 50

Comments: Molinaro has good size potential, continues to add bulk. Played right and left tackle in college. Long arms, good at riding defensive ends wide. Good upper-body strength, sustains blocks once locked on. Decent lower-body strength, and he could get bigger, stronger. Plays with mean streak, keeps legs driving, works to sustain blocks in running game. Good intensity, is physical at point of attack. Played defensive tackle until 2001, received little playing time at tackle until senior year and is raw. Comes out of stance too high and loses his leverage. Can't anchor when he isn't playing with leverage. Lacks range, has problems blocking moving targets at second level. Lacks quick first step, will occasionally get beaten off snap, has problems preventing edge rushers from turning the corner. Molinaro movied to offensive tackle in 2001. He started only three games prior to 2003, then was a starter. Molinaro lacks experience and is raw. His potential is somewhat limited by mediocre athleticism, quickness and range in pass protection, but he has upside because of his terrific frame, strong upper body and aggressive mentality as a run blocker. Molinaro is a mauler with good size and the frame to get bigger. He gets good movement in the running game, and he should improve as he gets stronger in his lower body. Molinaro should become a better all-around player with more experience, coaching and technique. A team should take a chance on him late on the second day of the draft.

He did keep a mediocre QB alive until he settled into his game for the next season and then helped him get to yet another level. Notre Dame was surviving and then Jones returned to the lineup to put a little punch back in their run.

Damn right.

This guy sounds like Joe Jacoby. Same build. Both raw. Both converted defensive lineman. Wonder if he can do commercials?

Oh you mean those Theatervision commercials! LOL funny. JJ made no attempt to disguise the fact that he was reading directly from the cue cards..throw that in with his occassional robotic sales gesture and monotone delivery, it's definitely a classic!
