NavyDave
Hopefully before the shrimp dinner there is a date with one of danny's foot specialists.
Larry
I'm still looking for a player (any player) who reminds me of Butz. Somebody who shows up, moves the pile a little, clocks out, and goes home. (Stopping the run wouldn't hurt, either.) (Edit: Isn't there a DT from Oklahoma who's projected to go around #5?) I'm still hoping Noble can be that guy. When we signed him, he was quoted as saying "I'm not a guy who's going to get a lot of sacks, but I can stand up a double team all day long." and that sounded like the kind of guy we needed. (At least, if he can deliver.) On those (admittedly rare) occasions when I watch a DT, my standard is, if he can take two blockers, that's good, and if he can move them back a yard or two, that's even better. DraftNik
Yeah, Mel Kiper's latest mock draft has us taking Tommie Harris at #5. I love our situation in this draft. We can take a blue-chip lineman at 5 or trade down 10 or more spots and still get a quality d-line prospect like Randy Starks, Igor Olshansky, Will Smith, this new guy Kiper's talking about (Jason Babin). This is a great draft for the need positions we have.
