bulldog Posted January 15, 2004 Share Posted January 15, 2004 it is kind weird the way this played out. you would think that after having to leave town to hand in his resignation that he would just have an assistant pack up his stuff and have it sent to him. but in the overall picture Spurrier only spent 2 years here and was not a sucking leech like Norv Turner. Spurrier realized he wasn't going to be successful here (some posters here had great delusions about this :laugh: ), but it's over and there's no reason to blast the guy any further. I say he did his best, failed, and now let him move on. Also, time to kill a Skins urban legend: They shouldn't let that loser walk in the door after running Stephen Davis out Davis was going to count $11 MILLION against the salary cap and wouldn't take a penny less.
