I'd start with boxing up the following players stuff and leaving it out on the curb in front of Redskin Park. Labeled of course, it's the least the organization could do.

Barker - Big Time cap savings.

Canidate - To soft, not a Gibbs player regardless of his speed

Upshaw - Blockhead and NOT a Gibbs player

B. Smith - Retired/Cut.... no party... no goodbye... nothing.

Chase - Marginal reserve talent... better out there.

L. Moore - marginal center.... not Bugel's man..cap savings

McCollough - can't believe he never made it on the field

Todd Franz - just not an NFL safety prospect

Pita Elisara - Pizza just isn't a Bugel lineman

Kenyatta Jones - Character issues... who throws hot water on ppl

Feel free to add to the list.....

Do not be too hasty throwing Trung C. overboard. I remember a similar back who prospered in a Gibbs offense: Joe Washington. Also remember the Coryell connection: Old-Timers remember Metcalf in St. Louis (before they went to Arizona).

In the later years we had Byner (a tough halfback who could run and catch a pass out of the backfield) who alternated with an over-the-hill Riggs who came in for the short yardage dirty work.

Gibbs will find a "hammer" at RB to go along with the knife (TC).

Welcome Back, Coach! :pint:
