Brave
Less than one half does not a controversy make. But it is good to see him playing well.
StevieInferior
You're Right. But before we get excited...just think about the difference of coming into a game as a backup vs. starter. Remeber how we thought Ramsey would have no problems before getting humbeled by the Saints last year
Canadian Hog
Let's leave the topic of QB Controversy to teams such as Miami, San Francisco, and Cleveland. We don't have one. Tim is doing exactly what a backup is supposed to do: come in and give your team a chance to win when your top guy is out. Patrick is the man, no doubt. NavyDave
More mobile will throw ball away and is quick to set up and release Ramsey can learn something from this kid. Is he on a one year deal??
NoCalMike
There is no controversy. Ramsey is OUR QB. There are plenty of variables going into this that could benefit Hassleback, some of which might dissapear in the 2nd half. Let's just hold off on any, "QB controversy" calls, and/or, "Cut Ramsey, the bum" threads. Please

But now that he's rolling out, completing passes and moving the ball something reminded me of how Spurrier was last year. I wouldn't put it past Spurrier to put Hasselbeck in at the first sign of Ramsey sputtering from now on :thud:
Gamebreaker
No, I don't think Spurrier is that stupid. Ramsey has performed in a number of good games in what is basically a full season of football. Hasselbeck has performed well in one half, let's get real. All he's really proving is he's a capable backup, period. If anything, alot more capable in this offense than Rob Johnson, which might turn that personnel move into an actual positive instead of negative. gstahl
bottom line, get Ramsey health. I think his multiple injuries have really hampered him lately. If TH plays next week, I have no problems as long as it is expressly to allow Ramsey to heal.
