Henry
I get that. Paul is a great protest vote. A lot of what he says needs to be said. But when it comes to actually running the country, making difficult decisions, dealing with the unexpected, I have no confidence in him. When the rubber hits the road, the President needs to do more than tell us what the government shouldn't be doing. In my opinion.
NoVaO
Because he personally chose not to under pressure. Surely you dont think Paul would buckle under pressure to change his views after over 20 years of doing otherwise? He did not personally choose not to. Congress denied him being able to fund the closing of Gitmo.
88Comrade2000
I drove by some Paul supporters near the mall. Kind of funny since Paul has said he's skipping Florida. Actually, shouldn't there be a SC Primary thread; since that's the next one up- even though it is a week away.
