The French-language debate is scheduled for Thursday, the same day the Habs will face off in their first playoff game against the Boston Bruins. Interest in that post-season series is particularly high, given the recent history of bad blood between the teams. Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe got the ball rolling Sunday by saying there's little doubt hockey-mad Montreal fans will choose the game over the debate. Springfield Posted April 10, 2011 Share Posted April 10, 2011 I saw this. I think it's a great move. Nobody up there would want to watch a debate when the Habs are playing the Bruins.
