'Red' rocker Sammy Hagar says abducted by aliens

LOS ANGELES, March 21 (Reuters) - No doubt Sammy Hagar, a

former lead singer for Van Halen, has enjoyed a lot of far out

experiences in life, but on Monday, the rocker told perhaps his

farthest out tale to MTV. He was abducted by aliens.

Hasn't he said this in several interviews? He talked about it on Stern last week. I don't think it's a crazy thing to think. It's one thing to say "I was abducted by aliens", and another to say "I was abducted by aliens, and you must follow me if you want to live!"

As a big Van Halen fan, I've been looking forward to picking up his book. Sammy has been generally talking about this for years in interviews. Van Halen's song "Love walks in" was about this experience he claims he had, he just didn't mention that it was himself he was talking about. If you watch "Live without a net" that is how he introduces the song. "This is a song about aliens" :ols:
