gutlead74
Just a perfectly executed power play. At the POA heyer and lichtistiger(sp) get a great double to the mike, they got good movement on the 3 and heyer leaked perfectly when mike came over top to fill, which he was a step slow because he bit on the counter stab by the fb and tb. Rahbac sealed the 1 hicks pulled and sealed wright shoulder the play side 7 that had been expanded by formation and Cooley's wide release. Sellers blocks out SAM with CC blocking the play side CB, leaving only the safety (like you draw it up) whom Torain just TRUCKS. Backside DE and Will took themselves out of the play watching boot. Just pretty to watch!!!!
Dukes and Skins
Great job on diagramming the play. When you watch it the first thing that sticks out is the hole that Heyer and Lichtensteiger get and then you see the Truck move by Torain but what you said is true you just have to go back and look at it again to see it
skinsaddict
wait, but heyer sucks and is the worst player on this team (save for bidwell)
gutlead74
I love the zone but it's important to keep some balance with some man schemes.
gutlead74
wait, but heyer sucks and is the worst player on this team (save for bidwell) Before you get to happy with heyer he had some just stupid penalties, worst was his backside hold in the red zone that cost us a prime TD opportunity. Not trying to turn this into a Heyer thread but I think he has done well at LT in terms of protecting #5s back. He just needs to learn to do it without penalties. If it mental or physical short comings penalties come from being out of position and poor technique.
