halter91
Anyone use it? I just signed up, I'm suppose to get paid per click. www.thundersoftball.com I haven't updated my site in over a year. Just curious if anyone else has used google adsense or gotten paid?? I know when I had my online travel business I would get calls left and right from people claiming to be able to help me promote my website. Burgundy Burner
You can try it, but GA is not geared toward local sites. You need to have a broad theme and the search spiders prefer pages that are updated daily. You have to make a strong commitment to make it work for you and it doesn't hurt to outsource some or a lot of this daily work.
Corcaigh
To make money you need a site that gets a very good volume of traffic AND on topics that advertisers want to pay a premium for. You get a small cut of what Google is making. If the click though on the ad is only worth 10 cents to Google it'll take an awful lot of clicks for you to make money. If the clickthrough is worth $15 (as is common for high value items) then you'll make something if you have the traffic too.

Bang
Works for me. It's not a lot of money, you really have to roll millions of people thru the site to make any significant money. Plus, with little cojntrol over the content, the page can get pretty ugly real fast if you load up on them. I keep them ads minimal, but i keep them because every other month or so they send me a couple hundred bucks. ~Bang
