Will Greg Blache learn from the Giants/Bucs Game?

Not sure about you guys, but it is driving me freking crazy to see our d showing blitz on a 3rd & 4, and the cb's are playing 8 yds off the line.

Whatever happened to the full press blitz? cb's chucking receivers, throwing them off timing, while the other 7 are ripping the qb?

Somebody needs to put a firecracker up his arse and get the right players and formations in; at times, he looks as cornfused as Zorn...

Press coverage and the corner blitz left along with GW.

He may be a flop elsewhere, but he was great with the players he had here and was in his element as a coach.

Interesting how the Giants of all teams have the #1 pass defense in the league with nobody playing Corner and Safety, just complete scrubs. They press the receivers to give their pass rush a little more time and they trust these nobodies to do it while we can't trust veteran 1st round picks who make bucks. Did Blache even want these players?

Our team, offensive and defensive is a mirror of itself. Zorn is afraid of doing anything risky to score points while Blache plays semi-prevent from the first snap because he's scared of giving any up.

Eventually this just doesn't work and they get over ran by those who actually showed up to win a football game. Even if they hadn't won 1 in 19 tries. They are there to win and they will if you don't do anything on either side of the ball to stop them.

It's pathetic.

To be fair, the Giants' corners certainly aren't "nobodies."

Corey Webster's an excellent corner, and both he and Terrell Thomas were fairly recent 2nd round picks, and Aaron Ross was a 1st a round pick. Michael Johnson, their free safety, is a 7th round pick, but he's like our Reed Doughty/Chris Horton kind of overachiever who plays very well within their scheme.

Greg Blache is a very poor man's Gregg William.

Greg is too stubborn and ****y to learn from his past mistakes. He talks a good game, but fails to deliver -- atleast in the first 3 games we have played.

For instance, he has still to address why the DBs play 10-15 yards away from WRs and this on critical 3rd downs.

The way he benched Chris Horton isn't cool either. And, how about playing Kevin Barnes ... He certainly can't be much worse than Fred Smoot.
