SkinnedAussie
That first one is a relative on the emu. It's called a cassowary, and it has a spike on the back of it's foot that can quite easily disembowel anything. It's native to New Guinea. The lizard (goanna) is actually a staple of the aborigines up north. Very greasy, and very fattening, so if you are watching your weight it's best to steer clear. I really can't make out what the first spider is, but that huntsman is exactly the reason why I kept them in my caravan. I'd rather the spider than the ****roach. Yeah think of a Cassowary as a feathered dino with a bit of velociraptor left in them. Easily spooked and will gut you with that talon as SkinnedAussie said. Special K
Just think, some of us live here! :nana: Hardee har! I don't know if I'd want to live there, I'm pretty happy living in the U.S. and travelling around. But Australia and New Zealand are 2 major places I haven't been and would love to visit

Having lived in the SoCal desert area, I'm fine with never dealing with that again...unless I'm houseboating on a lake, then I'm fine with those temps Really though, your country has a lot of really intriguing wildlife I would love to get to check out sometime

SkinnedAussie
Mate, Sydney beaches are notorious for women going topless. You just need to speak to the right people who will point you in the right direction.
WVUforREDSKINS
Oh ok yea i've seen a few topless at Bondi. I hear there is a nude beach nearby but i'm thinking that most of the people there I wouldn't wanna see naked.

If it grabbed your leg and put you in a roll, it would likely break your leg anyway. Great "pet."
WVUforREDSKINS
Good stuff. Now I really feel like a dumb tourists for thinking Rex was the biggest. Although, in the back of my mind I was thinking "how in the hell would they even know if its the biggest? Nile Crocs are pretty damn big." Also, I went skydiving an hour south of Sydney yesterday. It was amazing. I really can't describe the feeling but I was yelling **** for 40 straight seconds, which was how long the free fall was before the chute was pulled. I jumped out from 14,000 ft and was falling at 80 miles an hour. I even fell through a cloud.

If he latched on and went into a death roll, the end result would still be the same ...... for the victim. Just not as gory, at first. He would just store you under water a little longer to make you softer than normal. Then, you would just fall apart. Mmm, Mmm, melts in your mouth, not in your hand. Let me know when you are in town. I no longer drive (due to a vision problem), but maybe we can arrange to meet-and-greet somewhere. How do you plan on getting to Adelaide from Melbourne. My place is on the way, so if you intend on driving the scenic route - Great Ocean Road - you'll have to pass through Geelong to get there.
