Sir Thomas Wyatt

The longe love that in my thought doeth harbar

The longe love that in my thought doeth harbar

And in myn hert doeth kepe his residence

Into my face preseth with bold pretence

And therein campeth, spreding his baner.

She that me lerneth to love and suffre

And will that my trust and lustes negligence

Be rayned by reason, shame, and reverence,

With his hardines taketh displeasure.

Wherewithall, vnto the hertes forrest he fleith,

Leving his entreprise with payne and cry,

And there him hideth and not appereth.

What may I do when my maister fereth,

But in the felde with him to lyve and dye?

For goode is the liff ending faithfully.

Polywog,

It was a late night for me as I came up with it. With MS, I constantly wonder about the nature not just of my disease, but also the wonders of it's timing. During my first big flare before diagnosis, I was lucky to get a break of about 2 weeks just as I had planned a trip down the Grand Canyon with my mom and father in law. I was mercifully spared symptoms long enough to to raft, camp and hike. I only stumbled once from the dizzyness which was creaping into my life. About a month later I was in the hospital for a week. Then there is my daughter covering one eye showin me I could see fine if I would just close one eye. "Miracles" seem to follow me. Most are but lucky happenstance. Still, I wonder at the nature of miracles some late nights.

With all the talk of a near infinite number of realities, and having just reread Cranes "A man said unto the Universe" poem, I was wondering if the realities could be personified, what would they talk about, and are they as fallible in their work as we are? What if miracles were just the undone unmaking of a deranged or misunderstood changer of the rules rather than the universal blessing we assume.

I dig the way you think Gbear. Very nonlinear.

Even though I consider myself to be very spiritual, science grounds my decision making about matters of space and time. I must concede that I have no idea as of right now, though, the true nature of the All.

This universe at times fills my thoughts, I can actually see it if I close my eyes, yet I still just don't know.

I have over time come to realize that perhaps I would rather not know.

Hope you are doing well. Good luck to you!

Amor by Roberto Cázares Mondragón

Spanish I know, but I hope some one find it interesting.

If some one dont get it is about Lucifer and his fall to hell, I'm trying to explain from another point of view, a view that I like it, he wants revenge against god because his beloved muse was disfigured when all the rebel angels fell.

¡Muy bueno, mi amigo! Impresionante y un pedazo muy bueno. Mi español es malo, tuve que usar a un traductor.

Trabajo bueno.

¡Incluso la traducción era poética!

Hasta luego.

Google chrome translation:

Among the black flame burning

An angel reconsiders and plans his revenge

Leaving a trail of tears because of its sulfur

Peace denies that his former home.

Vast majestic wings fall resisted

With his ego swelled with pride damn

Remember a sincere love unaware of their injuries

That make it even stronger in situations divine.

I drink with her in heaven and hell sharp delight

Just like the burning lava on their feet now felt

Profanity and dark gods invoked in sadistic symphonies

Love beyond the cosmos, revenge and life.

Imposing, gigantic figure of Apollo immortal

Looking for traces of his beloved angelic muse before

Lies, says he heads the most colossal army

To start the bloody fate of the final battle.

In the confines desolate and forgotten by the grace

Curled his beloved, battered and deformed

At the foot of Lucifer mourns his fate, possessed by folly

He rages against his eternal enemy, hell resounds

Looks up, embracing his beloved, and plans revenge.

big, beautiful eyes along with a smile

to die for

so lovely that raindrops carefully danced

around you, afraid to damage you

so sweet that one taste would leave me

a diabetic patient for life

so radiant that the sun asked darkness

to be its best friend

so adorable that God stepped down

to see what the fuss was about

so powerful that the long line to heaven

led to your footsteps

and so charming that i ripped out my heart

and asked you to take care of it

i've had enough, i have to do it

i'm gonna reach over and place your hair

behind your ears

run my hand down your face

i can feel you tremble with anticipation

down to your neck, your shoulders and your chest

alarm me if lust needs to be put to rest

i'm gonna go down farther and make

you breathe like the air was filled

with a century of love making

cuz this right here is the stars

in the sky falling down

for each and every one of your perfections
