Redskins:Victory_or_Death
It's called parity. And it's what the NFL wants.Your idea is extremely INSANELY bad for business One man's lunatic is another man's genius.
SkinsNatsFan
I actually remember skins games being blacked out, guys used to travel to Richmond to rent a motel room to see the game. Its been many years ago. Yeah, if I remember correctly, all home games were blacked out, regardless of ticket sales. The Skins were sold out, so there was no other way to see the game but to get out of the area. I believe there were a lot of congressmen who wanted to see the Skins games and they were able to get the blackout rule modified to exclude sellouts, although I don't recall the specifics. BALLz
Who exactly is the enforcer of the blackout rule? Is it the NFL or is it the station that would be broadcasting the game?
HighOnHendrix
Most of the time though local businesses will buy up the tickets and save the fans from being blacked out. I have heard that local TV stations will buy them up in order to be able to broadcast the game.
HapHaszard
Ken Beatrice. "That's Faw Three Two, WMAL!" Is he still around or has he been run out of town yet? I have met him and he was a total ass.
SkinsNatsFan
Is he still around or has he been run out of town yet? I have met him and he was a total ass. He's long gone. They've replaced him with a series of on-air asses.
