Boy1Der Posted December 9, 2008 Share Posted December 9, 2008 Wasn't it just but a couple of weeks ago that McNabb was benched in the second half when he was off his game and against which team oh the Baltimore Ravens. Reid didn't speak to McNabb at all and let him know, McNabb went to the media and the Eagles were reeling people were talking about not just McNabb being gone but also Andy Reid. These are the same to men who went all the way to the Super Bowl. Eagles fans were going crazy there was lots of speculation about there future. Where are they now? They just beat the defending Super Champs the New York Giants in NY and have a half game lead above us for the final wild card spot. Is it that Jim Zorn is taking a page out of another Mike Holmgren's QB coach or are we just as lame as Eagle fans who were doing the same complaining and whining were all doing now. McNabb has always been a complainer and Reid cant even control his kids let alone the team. and comparing ourselves to the Gnats? why, because when Tiki retired he said some ****? they won once he left and Shockey isnt even part of the equation because he was a distraction and always a mouth runner. if our team turns it around this year it will be because we have an easier schedule then the rest of the division. and it will have nothing to do with comparing ourselves to those 2 teams. Johnny White Guy Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Good point, however Zorn is a first year HC and hasn't really buckled down any guarantees that he is the future HC of the franchise, where Reid can do whatever the hell he wants and not have to worry. Coach benches star player in 2nd half of a loss Player complains in media media and fans make a big deal out of it coach comes out in support of player trys to explain not what everyone thinks nope nothing a like take out "the eagles" then try and comprehend his point.
