He strikes me as one of the rare players on this team that plays mad when they get behind in games (and plays better for it) and seems to be bothered by losses and the team's inconsistency. I was really down on El up until a few weeks ago when I really started watching. Yes, I don't like all that juking he does, but hey....by the time the ball gets to him the coverage is all over him. Do those other guys out there in Burgundy and Gold understand that its their job to slow up that coverage and actually protect the ball carrier? They just need an alternative in the return game. Because the alternative to Cartwright returning kicks is Thrash. Those are pretty much your choices.
