Another game where overall our D is good but they miss big oppurtunities

To me it was a game of field position, we had it in the beginning, but once we kicked our two field goals, it switched.

When two teams like these who have good defenses play, it is going to come down to a few big plays or missed oppurtunities.

When you look at the stat line you will see that the Steelers only had 225 yard of total offense.

The problem is our defense is missing oppurtunities. Carlos Rogers had an easy Pick-6 handed to him.

That could have changed the entire game. We all know what happened.

Gotta agree NoCal. Especially Rogers. I know the guy is having a good year coverwise but this constant inability to hold on to balls is really getting old. Teams that are going places make such plays, and that non-play was a huge opportunity missed in this game.

I have to agree. They didn't do anything with onside kick recovery or the Griffin int. Those two drives right there could have been been huge.

would have been a complete swing had he held onto that. Wouldn't it have been 13-3? Yea it would have been.

We would have had all the momentum and could have put the game out of reach. I was so pissed when he dropped that.
