BG Posted March 20, 2003 Share Posted March 20, 2003 I mention this wondering if we are moving some of the Al-Qaeda detainees that are being held here, or if anyone may have heard any random news about anything down here. We have a very large air force base, closed down Naval base and a naval weapons station which is where the detainees are being held. I have heard nothing but cargo planes all morning. Mad Mike Posted March 20, 2003 Share Posted March 20, 2003 That's normal in wartime. I used to live under the the flightpath of the cargo planes landing at Langley AFB in Hampton. During the first gulf war they were coming and going 24/7.
