borninblood
I had heard hayseed dixie, but I had no idea this stuff was so far spread. Hayseed Dixie is fun live. They are on the cheesy side, big time. I'm really diggin Ironside though. They actually sound pretty good. If you go to their site and click on the cd covers they have samples to check out. http://www.ironhorsebluegrass.com/ Fade To Blue Grass - The Four Horsemen Fade To Blue Grass - Fade to Black Strummin' With The Devil: Dance the night away Black and Bluegrass : Paranoid Hayseed Dixie - Roses (Bluegrass - Outkast cover song) http://youtube.com/watch?v=y0FuMRHRCVY Hayseed Dixie - Ace of Spades

Koolblue13
I sure like the hell out of all of that. I'm listening to Hank III right now, crazed country rebel just ended. I was listenig to Old Crow medcine show earlier. A few years ago I had to take the AC/DC out of my truck, because I just couldn't handle it. It comes on, next thing you know, it's a hundred miles an hour down the back roads, drunk, with your hair on fire. You know, happier than hell, but ain't doin what ya should. Well, I took all of the AC/DC out of my truck(except highway to hell, which kind of defeats the point) and was doin' fine......Until somebody gave me a copy of the Hayseed Dixie cover album. Next thing ya know, hundred miles an hour, down the back streach. They're good.

rincewind
While I think Hayseed is fun, I cringe at the idea of people thinking this is 'bluegrass done right'.
twa
While I think Hayseed is fun, I cringe at the idea of people thinking this is 'bluegrass done right'. I agree  I'm not knocking anyones taste in music(if you enjoy it,it's good ), but don't insult Bluegrass.
Koolblue13
I agree with y'all, I just like the AC/DC stuff, it's just good music. Wayne Han**** is the best in country,IMO. As far as bluegrass, clinch mountain, Ozborne Bros and the Blue Mountain Boys are good. Hard to beat Del too.
