footballhenry
For fans of the film or those that just want to know what was whispered at the end of the film, technology has allowed everyone to know what was said. footballhenry
For some reason that wasn't fulfilling Meh, its okay. I mean honestly its probably better to not know anyway. Theres a reason the director didn't want us to hear it I suppose.
RedlightG20
I thought it was a good way to end it. I can see how some people would be disappointed in that line, like they were wishing for some more meaningful and climatic dialogue to close the movie, but the movie itself is simple and so this fits well with the entire feeling of the movie. Besides, Lost in Translation isn't about what is said--it's about what isn't said.

Tarhog
I think sometimes the 'unspoken' communication that goes on in a great movie can never be surpassed by the actual words. I know some people hated 'Lost' but I found it totally compelling. And I knew what was being said in that final scene without ever having to hear the words.
