2006Skins
Lets not forget the fact that JC hasn't played an entire season as the starter. Whether you like the coaches or not, or Betts/CP or the receivers, you have to acknowledge the fact that JC is carrying this offense by himself. Theres no offensive line and the receivers are dropping balls left and right. I give credit to Jason Campbell for playing hard and playing well with no help around him. I look forward to seeing what he can do with help around him and some protection. HAIL

Operations
JC is also overthrowing open receivers down the field and is holding onto the ball too long. He shows some flashes but is nothing special yet.

2006Skins
I'm not making excuses for him. But its part of the development. He will get better. But we're putting the entire offense on his shoulders right now and this is how he's going to play with him carrying the team

#98QBKiller
Brady and Peyton would've turned over the ball under that kind of pressure

THE POSSE 81 83 84
Brady had so much less talent when he took over in his 1st season and Manning at least had a 300 yd game early in his career

2006Skins
Brady and Peyton would've turned over the ball under that kind of pressure They're also the 2 best qbs in the league. It's like saying we need a Jerry Rice on our team. Every team does. 30 other teams would take Peyton or Brady (edit).

eljeasel
Hold him responsible? what are you going to do, put him in time-out Our 25 year old essentially rookie quarterback didnt play well. He overthrew receivers and fumbled the ball. Practice, Focus, and come out next Sunday. Like Operations said, hes shown flashes but there is more to come... so we hope

WhoRUSupposed2Be
I am a Jason Campbell fan, but I will not make excuses for him. He is still shaky at times during difficult stretches in games.

Blackest Eyes
I think the real judgements of JC can come next year. Not every QB starts off perfectly. See Peyton Mannings first full year for example.

Smurf85
I still don't know about Campbell. I mean I have seen some good things, but it seems like I am seeing more and more bad things every week. I don't know if he's the guy or not, but it's not like we have anyone thats better.
