ptimeskins-11
I would like us to give Russ Grimm a chance. I was hoping he come aboard when Joe came back.
cchandler
Besides if we were to go after any NFL coach it would have to be someone a UM coach. He would already be familiar with Moss, Portis, Taylor and McIntosh Are you serious? If that's the search criteria, then instead of a Miami coach, don't we "have to" get an Auburn coach? He would already be familiar with our four Auburn players. Or how about we "have to" get a Alabama coach (3 players), or a Georgia coach (3 players). Your logic amazes me. Stadium-Armory
Carroll looks like a great coach because he can control recruiting in a large state. He won't have the same luxury in the NFL, and he proved so in San Francisco and New England. He coached the Pats and the Jets (no 9ers). Year Team Record Playoffs Other Notes 1994 New York Jets 6-10 none Lost final 6 games; Carroll was fired 1997 New England Patriots 10-6 1-1 Division champions 1998 New England Patriots 9-7 0-1 1999 New England Patriots 8-8 none Carroll was fired
