People said we didn't have a #1 WR that year, now we don't have a #2 WR (yet Randle El steps up this time). Our RB has problems, yet we didn't see that. QB questions, hopefully Campbell proves them wrong like Brunell did somehow. Our defense is supposedly weak. Hopefully it won' be a heart attack game, but I have high hopes for this season. McNabb is not 100% and they could not do much against a bad Packer Defense. Not to burst your bubble, but the Packers defense is anything but bad. Not just because I want to see Portis excel, but because our history already has the the Miracle from Moss. I want to see Portis have a Dream game. I felt the same but for different reasons. A) I don't think we had RB problems in 05. Unless you count people saying Portis was a fluke after a 1300 yard 04 season. People knew our defense was very good after 04. We regressed in 05, but still finished top 10. This year's defensive issues were based on last year. C) We didn't REALLY have QB issues- remember Ramsey was supposed to be a godsend that year. But his injury allowed Brunell back in. But in other regards, the disrespect we've gotten in preseason, on top of our under rated players (Cooley, OL, Campbell, McIntosh) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
