Walking Deadman
Hey folks, Like many of you, I'll be at the game and tailgating starting the moment the lots open today. Just an FYI....it's supposed to be 94 F around 3Pm with a heat index of 99. so stay cool, stay hydrated (no I don't mean booze - drink some water every once in awhile) and try to stay in the shade http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/wxdetail/20785?from=36hr_bottomnav_business HTTR
terpskins10
Haha boozing would actually dehydrate and cause problems. Definitely gotta drink some water. Thanks for the info.

Mista T
We'll be down to watch this annual meaningless game & keep an eye on you guys -- to make sure you practice beeing hospitable to opponent team fans. The 98 degree prediction has sent our big tailgating plans into the crapper. Now it will be just eat a sandwich, drink a beer, and quickly get inside the stadium early to stay out of the heat. HSF
I spoke to Huly around 330pm. She said that everyone that made it to Arena Drive, before the gates opened, were all under a tent drinking plenty of water (the majority have not started with the liquor/beer). Right now in Ashburn (1 mile away from Redskin Training Camp) the temperature reached 103.

Stew
That has to be one sweaty tailgate! Im glad football season is here, though i like tailgating in the frigid cold better then the sweltering heat.

HSF
It's getting really dark with thick clouds and with thunder out here in Ashburn and heading East. Hope the weather holds out for the game.
Stew
Wow, id say a bad wheather game in preseason is good for experience against the elements. It looks like its getting pretty overcast around here as well.

spjunkies
Any chance this game will be canceled due to severe storms and lightening? Nah, this is just a normal DC storm. Should be done in 1/2 hour or so.
