While I think he will do great this year, he will most likely be a very late round pick up or even a free agent in most leagues unless there is a big hommer in the league like me. He has never played a down in the NFL, is going to get murdered behind Oakland's line, and he ranks just below Campbell who showed improvment, has learned the system and should should have a pretty solid line in front and an excellent running game behind him. Something is just plane wrong. Who is JaMarcus Russell going to throw the ball to? Campbell will put up mind boggling #s compared to Russell. Joe Gibbs II Posted June 26, 2007 Share Posted June 26, 2007 I dont think this is all that bad. I mean, i dont blame them for putting portis where they did although i have him higher. Most people think portis will get many more carries than betts, but when you are stacking his numbers against guys who have no competition-rudi, LT, LJ, Sjax, its easy to think that portis' numbers will be like those of a 2nd rate RB even when he has 1st rate talent.
