Ghost of
Continuing in the spirit of the playground pronunciation arguments that were only ever heated because half the people participating (or more) were utter morons or inbred hicks or ghetto youth who didnt know no better--- Anyone remember those Cherry candies? It was spelled on the Package: Cherry Clan. But I NEVER heard it pronounced that way in Paddington Square (Silver Spring, I heard the old complex has turned into a real hellhole full of...well, a real hellhole which probably makes the Summit look like Trump Towers.) It was always Cherry CHAN. I remember looking closely at the package after buying it from the ice cream/candy man and trying to figure out if I still needed to learn to read or if this was some secret language the company wanted people to use. So, was it Cherry Clan? Cherry Chan? Or something else.
