HouseBowlrz Posted June 5, 2007 Share Posted June 5, 2007 So correct me if I am wrong, wouldn't Silver Spring (on 9 out of 10 weekends) get BOTH Redskins games (Fox) AND Ravens games (CBS)... I believe that to be the case here in this area and I think the Baltimore affiliates are doing the same thing. The exceptions would be when both are playing at the same time and/or network due to blackout restrictions based on which network has the doubleheader. Looking at the first 10 weeks (the last seven fall under flexible scheduling and subject to change), there are five when the Redskins and Ravens play on Sunday afternoon. Under the presumption that both teams sell out their home games ... Week 3 (Fox doubleheader): Arizona at Baltimore 1300 on Fox, NY Giants at Washington 1615 on Fox; both games air in both markets; DC CBS airs game at 1300; Baltimore CBS airs game at 1605. Week 5 (CBS doubleheader): Detroit at Washington 1300 on Fox, Baltimore at San Francisco 1615 on CBS; both games air in both markets; Baltimore CBS airs two games; DC CBS airs only one game at 1615. Week 6 (CBS doubleheader): Washington at Green Bay 1300 on Fox, St Louis at Baltimore 1300 on Fox; each game airs in its respective market; DC CBS airs two games; Baltimore CBS airs only one game at 1615. Week 7 (Fox doubleheader): Arizona at Washington 1300 on Fox, Baltimore at Buffalo 1300 on CBS; both markets get Redskins on Fox as well as second game; Baltimore CBS airs Ravens at 1300; DC CBS airs game at 1605. Week 10 (Fox doubleheader): Philadelphia at Washington 1300 on Fox, Cincinnati at Baltimore 1605 on CBS; both games air in both markets; DC Fox shows second game; Baltimore Fox restricted to early game. cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
