Once again, Portis is an average runner at best. RBs like him are a dime a dozen. He is a product of the worst trade in Redskins history and the most overrated back in the league. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just blinded by team loyalty and not looking at him with objectivity.

I went through all twenty pages but for some reason this post really stood out for me.

Care to backup your opinion that Clinton is an average runner "at best".

How did you come to that conclusion?

Even if you don't like the guy personally, how can anyone deny his obvious talent?

I can understand if people like Ladell more because he's more of an unassuming personality and fits their idea of what a "core Redskin" is.

I can understand if people just like Ladell's style of running more.

I can understand if people like Ladell because of his "cheap" contract.

But I don't understand how someone could watch the same player that I've seen play in Denver for 2 years and with the Skins for 3 and put up historic numbers (only the third player in history to average 100 yards per game in his first 60 starts the other two being Barry Sanders and Jim Brown) and come to the conclusion that he is only an average runner.......at best.
