StillUnknown
I'm fine with boxing the sport, but with all the federations and the constant politics involved, I can't even remotely get motivated for fights. I just hope and pray that MMA doesn't go that way. true indeed. boxing has too many problems to fix right now. one big improvement would be to get rid of the alphabet belts and fight under one umbrella, but that will NEVER happen as long as the current promoters care more about the money than the actual sport. afkidd
MMA has been mainstream for the last year or so in the US, and obviously for the last couple of years in other countries (decades)
BAFGA
Poker is a fad, MMA is an actual sport. And BMX and skateboarding are actual sports?
six4g
What the heck is MMA? :whoknows: You can't be serious. That's not surprise at the fact that you don't know what MMA is, but at the fact that you didn't at least attempt to use the INTERNET search tool at your fingertips to find out. Age is truly only a #.
SkinsandCanes
I remember my first boxing match.Larry Holmes vs Jerry Coonie I remember my first MMA fight UFC 6, Tank Abbott won that one. MMA is sooooooooooooo much more fun to watch than boxing. I like boxing, I even paid to see the Mayweather Oscar fight, but boxing doesn't compare to MMA. Do you remember your first UFC? Tank Abbott lost in the finals to Oleg Taktarov. Tank never won a UFC.
