GOSKINS_08
I would be very surprised if he retires.
DWinzit
He may be bummed because he hasn't played to his teams or his own expectations. I'm sure $1 million from some team to have him as a backup, will inspire him to continue his career.
Hiro
kinda surprised by this. he's still got a few years left, could start on a few teams other then denver. however, since the biggest rumor is him going to houstan, maybe he'd rather retire then play behind that craphole of an offensive line? Plummer isn't money oriented. He's got plenty of money to last him a lifetime. He drives a Honda. The guy lives outdoors. Hiking, mountain biking, skiing, you name it. Although I think he'll continue to play a bit longer, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he hung em up.

Decent rookie contract A $29.7 million extension in Arizona Many endorsement contracts A 7 year $40.7 million contract in Denver. Not money oriented? Perhaps I wouldn't be if I made money like that. He's been a starting QB in this league for a long time, of course he's going to have money in the bank. What the poster suggested is that he isn't contemplating staying as a back up or getting traded just to keep cashing checks.
