Mooka
Ryan Clark CHOSE to leave when he found out a strong safety was being brought in play strong safety. - The team wanted to re-sign him and keep him in the mix- he elected to shop around.Pierce wanted more money than Marcus Washington and ultimately left for a few hundred thousand more on his contract. - How's that for being loyal to the team that gave you your opportunity? The point being that these guys were worth keeping. Pierce is worth the money. That, "he wanted more money then Marcus" is just crap excuses from our front office. Antwaan, Brandon, Andre and Arch all got more money then Marcus Washington. That's a SS and a #2, #3 WR compared to our star SLB.

That's a SS and a #2, #3 WR compared to our star SLB. All those guys basically got the same contract: mininum (or close to it) for the first 3 years, and going up after that. Pierce's contract with the Giants got more money up front. Jason
