That pass defense ranking is going to be a big problem if it continues. Hopefully Shawn Springs will be able to bring that down. Run defense looked great against the Jags.

Our run defense is a bit misleading as teams are taking advantage of the secondary and no Springs.

He can't come back soon enough.

26th versus the pass

5th versus the run

22nd in defensive turnovers

3rd overall ranked offense

10th ranked passing offense

6th ranked rushing offense

10th in average points scored per game (23.2 ppg)

9th in total TD's (10 td's)

14th in offensive turnovers (5 takeaways to 6 giveaways for a net of +1).

The Pass defense is actually better than what they ranking shows, we have to stop the big plays, we have several great stops, then give up a 55 yarder, or allow the jags to go the length of the field in 4 plays, after stopping them 8-10 on third down.

How many of those big plays given up were when we called blitzes, do you have any idea??...

From what I saw of the game last week (saw the condenced version at work today), it wasnt the blitz that killed us, but it was either a blown coverage or soft spot in cover 2 that was the cause. We did get beat by the blitz once bad with Archuleta almost got to Leftwich but was chipped at the LOS.
