doubledeuce Posted September 24, 2006 Share Posted September 24, 2006 skinsnatsfan - give yourself plenty of time to mourn. be thankful that your dad found Christ in his last years - that truly is a blessing. then at some point realize that you have to move on - your dad would have wanted it, your family needs it. i know, i haven't lost a parent yet, but i've lost a daughter. i continued to mourn for almost two years, doing just enough to keep my head above water at work and at home. then i realized that time marches on, and that i needed to move forward as well. without rambling on too long, i can testify that it does get better, and Faith keeps you going. i will keep you and your family in my prayers...
