TheLongshot Posted September 12, 2006 Share Posted September 12, 2006 I think the biggest concern for me is the play of the DBs. I don't know what happened there but Rogers looked horrid. Rumph did ok after getting burnt for the 1st big play. Wright was wrong - he didn't look very good to me. We need Springs back ASAP! Rogers was shaky here and there, but he's a young guy who got faked out by one of the best. As for the 50 yarder Williamson dropped, it is hard to blame Rogers for it since it was a perfect pass. It would have hit him in stride, if he was able to actually catch it. The only way to stop that one would have been to drag him down before he caught it. It looked like they were giving Rumph some safety help later on in the game. All-in-all the Vikings looked real good. I was throughly impressed. Which is a point missed by some on this board.
