maxpower_I
From http://nfl.com/news/story/9619407 Redskins -- Todd Collins/Jason Campbell: Campbell may be the quarterback of the future in Washington, but the future isn't now. He has struggled in the preseason and hasn't even worked himself up to No. 2 behind Mark Brunell. He has been outplayed by journeyman Todd Collins, who was signed from Kansas City for his knowledge of Al Saunders' offensive system and is closer to being an assistant coach than a legitimate option under center. I dunno about this analysis....I thought Campbell has looked real good in the preseason, not lights out, but still solid outings. Collins hasn't clearly outplayed Campbell, especially when you look at Todd's play against the Bungles. Thoughts on who's been better this preseason? I guess we can all watch tonight and see for ourselves.
jaysonx
Tonight will give us another good look, but I gotta give the edge to youth here. Campbell looks good imho and still has tons of potential.
Jumbo
Talked about a phoned-in analysis. Not that the situation is worth a lot of ink or deep-reviewing, but this guy didn't even check.
PCS
Hello? Well alrighty then. Hard to argue with such a hard hitting, in-depth analysis.
whatmeworry
Obviously the writer hasn't seen either one of them play. Also known as a driveby...
roanoker
Collinsworth is in need of smelling salts if he sees Collins over Campbell. Knowing a playbook and executing under pressure are two separate things. Is Campbell the best #2 in the league no, but he is better than Collins. Blondie
I am not sure I can analyze such an in depth description of the situation. Blondie
Arsenic
Since when has Todd Collins been outplaying anyone, did I miss something?
