Doube Tree is fine, are you talking about the oceanfront?, yeah everything is cool at the beach. Best Sea Food. Best Kept Secret=Dockside Inn (757) 481-4545 on the Marina off of Shore Drive next to the Lesner Bridge. Best is Lynnhaven Fish House off of Shore drive before the Lesner Bridge if you are coming from the Oceafront. You could also check out Rudee's (757) 425-1777 at the inlet off of Winston Salem Ave or Meditteranean. That is near 5th street at the Oceanfront, but I would go to Lynnhaven Fish House (757) 481-0003 Hope this helps, maybe I'll see ya there, if you are talking about the Blitz. The owner is a huge Redskin fan a most of the real fans from the beach watch the games down there. It is very Redskin friendly. Check it out. If you are in that area, also check out Chick's Oyster House on Vista Circle - good locals' place. Get the Clams Casino to start. All of the above mentioned are fine places and the choice really depends on what type of atmosphere you like. I'll definitely be showing my face around the beach all day every day.
