Westbrook36
Philly will be better, but not much. Why? several reasons. They disrupted their OL, and DL... and will be adding rookies (who never make a big splash, no matter how great.... like QB steep learning curve) They did not come close to addressing their biggest needs, adding play makers to their offense. McNabb can't do it alone, and Westbrook for all the eagle fans squawking is coming off a serious injury, usually takes a year to fully recover, and even when healthy he can't do it all running and pass catching. Brown and Pinky scare no one, and they screwed up major by passing on Walker and not drafting Lendale White when they had the chance in the second round. it's a toss up whether they or the pokes will finish last in the NFC East. Bubba, you should get a job in a FO somewhere. I mean, you know the weaknesses of the Eagles better than player personnel men who have been doing it all their life. Put out an application! panel
Who the hell is Chris Landry and why should give a **** what he thinks? HA HA, exactly what I was thinking.
RiggoDrill
Chris Landry likes Andy Reid, in a personal, special way.
hooskin
Actually, I was the one who called in and asked him about the Redskins, because I have always enjoyed his commentary. I don't think we should write off all analysts who thought we weren't very good at 3-0 last year, because our subsequent record kinda bears out their analysis. But then we went on the 5-0 rampage and life got much better. Anyway, I actually like Landry the best out of any analyst because he typically backs up what he says with true insider info, and he is generally very fair in how he talks...never too much hyperbole. All that said, I think he's flat wrong about this, though.

I'll bet that MOST of us at ExtremeSkins are Redskins fans and not interested in seeing too much skin (on a man) you got pictures of the cheerleaders bust them out!! Otherwise look at your new boyfriend at home, we have no need for it here. Westbrook's sig is one of the most irrelevant to his cause to date (or is it!?!) But then we went on the 5-0 rampage and life got much better. Do you mean the 3-0 record that we got by beating the 11-5 Bears, the 9-7 Cowboys and the 13-3 Seahawks? The subsequent record was built on a 2 pt loss on the road to the 13-3 Broncos where we actually outgained them by a considerable margin, a loss to the 10-6 Chiefs on the road where the winning points were scored on a fumble, a one point loss on the road to the 11-5 Bucs where replays show we actually won, an OT loss to the 9-7 Chargers. The Giants loss was the only one of the year where we didn't have a reasonable chance to win. It just proves that they don't know squat. Not only didn't they realize that we were good, they didn't realize that the Bears, Cowboys and Seahawks were any good. Going 3-0 against them was not only not lucky, it was remarkable. Edit: I do agree with Landry that the Eagles could come roaring back this year.

We have addressed some glaring needs in the personel (both sides of ball) and playcalling area (Saunders--heard of him?)plus another year with GW's D. The depth and QB concerns are legitimate, but the jury is still out for any real consternation there, due to the fact we have not seen what a coached up JC , nor our excellent player accessments (UDFAs,rookie camp, mini camp) can contribute this preseason and beyond. Have faith. Did you have the fortune to see Gibbs in his first tenure? The man never fully shows his hand. Don't forget the tough losses last year, as mentioned above only seem to motivate a REAL TEAM as Gibbs and co. have assembled. Regardless of what the haters say, or me as a pure homer has to say, the evidence is undeniable and we will be something special to watch this year. Here we come. Sorry chief, but Landry, the super scout said we had NO offensive weapons on a team with a Top 5 runner, Top 5 receiver, Top 5 tight end, excellent offensive line and which wound up getting good play out of the QB. "They stink. They have nothing." Those were some of the non-hyperbolic words he used to describe the Redskins last year. As a scout, he should have known what we all knew. The top level talent was there if there was good play at QB.
The Full Monty
Sorry but Dallas is majorly overrated....Sorry but they just are. Not to mention their safety cant cover Santana Moss or Brandon Lloyd and Randle El is basically the same type of reciever as Moss. But seriously, watch out for the Eagles. The Cowboys still haven't fixed their o-line. How can they expect Bledsoe to throw it to T.O. from his back??? They still don't have a featured runner --- and their secondary still needs a true playmaking free safety..
TSmithTheReal#36
I don't pay attention to any sports "analysts" or for this matter a "super scout" :dunce: Most of these clowns picked the skins to go 4-12 last year or 5-11 and finish last in the division.
