bulldog
yep, Isaac Bruce, another wide receiver that still going at 35 and 13 years in the NFL. Is this guy even 5'10?
shsu1
His main criticism was for Randle El's contract. Many people feel that a number of our players are overpaid. This is nothing new.
SteelerSkins
maybe if they knew how the salary cap worked they'd shut their traps
bubba9497
C'mon.. I think you're wwaaaayyy too sensitive on this one. This is just really objective criticism. geez, get that broken record fixed already  espn had a good article a couple weeks ago, using stats and facts showing how much the wr signing could really open up the passing game. bubba9497
Big wr are a staple of the short WCO pass game, small fast wr, with the PI rules have a clear advantage in a spread, and vertical pass offense like Saunders likes.... bbuzz1962
Piece of **** article. Size equals injuries. Man I would like to see the pyhsics behind that one. I guess TO, one of the largest receivers in the league, doesn't count. Broken leg. Had he been smaller, it wouldn't have happend. It was because of his height that his leg was broken. These writers are bored, and are pulling straws out of hats. Find something else to write about guys. TO is now in Dallas, ready to disrupt an entirely new team. Get off Snyders back, he is doing what any billionaire would who owned a football team. He is buying the best available products on the market to help improve his own product. Let it go guys, its going to happen as long as he is the owner.
xCHIEFx
I love how everyone is optimistic, but I completely agree with the article.
Bangee7
Mark this down, I actually said the same a month or so ago........ "The size of the WR we run out there doesn't matter" What counts most is....... can they catch? can they get separation? can they play smart? (remember Rod Gardner ??) Is it illegal to throw a "low touchdown pass"? Did I miss that rule change? Truthfully, how many Alley Oop passes does any team hit on in the same year? If everyone else in the league is shifting to "larger DB's", then doesn't it make perfect sense to make sure you have shifty WR's? The bigger DB's will match up against the bigger WR's, but not our boys. I truly think the 'Skins are a step ahead of the league here and nobody else can see it yet. Sometimes being different aint all that bad. There has to be something that separates the Best from the rest of the field. Trust in the Staff and Keep the Faith !! jmcardle1982
He states that it will be hard to use all of our wide out effectively. I think Al Saunders will find creative ways to get all of these guys the ball in special situations.
