Manning2Plax4six
The skins drafted this guy last year 22nd or 25th overall i belive, not completely sure but i havnt heard much about him. Personally id want to be giving him some snaps in practice, Brunell isnt getting any younger
Me luv skins long time
he did get snaps last year in practice and looked good for a rookie last pre-season... Jason Cambell = The Future....especially with all the targets he has now, all the OPEN taregets he will have
OVCChairman
i can tell you just joined this year.....do a search for Jason Campbell and see what pops up
Frediemac
I believe if the Skins are winning (AND THEY SHOULD) then Collins will be the 2nd String. But if early in the Season or Pre Season and Brunnell gets Injured, Then Jason Campbell Will be THE MAN.
fdarugar
Campbell has all the tools, decent speed, good arm, good decisions, great size...all he needs are some reps...but with the Skins lookin to run at the Bowl, we wont be seeing Campbell starting next year, imo. #1SkinsFan
he did get snaps last year in practice and looked good for a rookie last pre-season...Jason Cambell = The Future....especially with all the targets he has now, all the OPEN taregets he will have damn right! If he does good in pre-season, and training camp, i think we gotta start him. He has to learn the system and be grroomed into a Daunte Culpepper, Mcnair, or Mcnabb type QB. I believe he is the one for us, and e will lead this team. Now is the time to start!
Bigredskin77
Jason Campbell maybe the choosen one who will bring balance to the skins. He will bring ballance.
anjinfob
He's learning from a veteran QB who's been successful for this team and for his previous team (Brunell) and from a QB who's been in this system for years (Collins). He has 3 excellent wide receivers, a Pro Bowl running back, and a big threat at H-Back. The team has put him in a position to succeed. It's on him now to prove he deserves that starting spot. jbooma
he will play in 2006 Only if Mark and Todd both get hurt. Jason is the future, and the future is not now.
greenhunter7
I dont mean to be pessimistic but he didnt live up to expectations at Auburn early in his career. I think he will be a good QB with time but I dont know how long. The weapons he will have around him will make him better then he really is but as of next season I dont know how good that would work out for the team. mikeyf316
Collins is not here to be the #2. He's here to provide additional input on Saunders offense and help work with Brunell and Campbell to speed their learning.
Greekdude
Man, at the Wizards game Cambell looked like a damn Lineman !!! He is our future put him in the fold now ,with all these weapons he will succeed:point2sky :helmet: :applause:
TaylorPickSix
Can someone tell me our preseason schedule? I'm going to be going to see one of them in person to watch campbell play.
Ant15fromNJ
We are really banking on him to bring us to the promise land if Brunell cant do it this year.
Zarg
Yeah, he shows promise vs. 3rd and 4th stringers! Big fan, but it will be a long time, GAMETIME, experience to get him anywhere near ready for a starting job... he will make the same mistakes a rookie QB will make. And at this stage in the game Gibbs wants his superbowl now....2006/7 and only Brunell will do. Then it's back to "Durive Fass Turn Left" for the great one...
