Don't miss this Redskins fans....it's DallasCowboys.com's 2005 Cowboys season in review:

Redskins related stuff:

Worst Loss

Washington, Washington

Take your pick: Either Washington game. Was it the first meeting in which the Cowboys completely dominated the Redskins for 56 minutes, only to give up two long touchdown passes to Santana Moss and lose, 14-13 on Monday Night Football? Or was it the rematch, with the Cowboys needing a win to not only stay in the NFC playoff race, but avoid a sweep to the Redskins, only to play their worst game of the season, getting embarrassed, 35-7, at FedEx Field?

Most Pivotal Play

Santana Moss' first TD catch

Sure, it's hard to think the second game of the season would still come back to haunt a team. But just how might things have been different if the Cowboys stopped the Redskins on fourth-and-15 from their own 39 with just 3:55 to play? Instead, Santana Moss splits two defenders at the goal line to haul in a touchdown pass from Mark Brunell. That score got the Redskins back in the game, and on the next possession, Washington took the lead when Brunell hit Moss on a 70-yard score that not only silenced a raucous Texas Stadium crowd, but spoiled a night that was supposed to be remembered for Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin being inducted into the Ring of Honor. The Redskins basically stole this one from the Cowboys.

Don't miss part 2 on Tuesday...here are the topics they'll address in that one, some of which could easily involve Redskins related stuff:

(Tuesday: Part Two of season-ending awards, featuring:

Most Significant Injury

Biggest Disappointment

Best Individual Play

Worst Individual Play

Best Off-Season Move

Worst Off-Season Move

Best Breakthrough Season

Best Comeback Award

I am sick of Cowboy fans talking about how they "dominated" the game for 56 minutes

Our D stuffed thier O except on a trick play flea flicker. If not for our D playing great, we would have been well out of it with 4 minutes left

If a team dominates for 56 minutes it ain't a 13-0 game folks, its more like 27-0. Our D kept us in that game for those 56 minutes and our O won it in the last 4

Also Texas Stadium was not silenced when Moss scored the 2nd TD, it ERUPTED because of all the Redskins fans there. You watch those video replays and you hear a loud roar when Moss makes the catch and walks into the endzone

That could be the best sound i ever heard. I probably watch that video at least twice a day. And its definetly true, huge roar. same when sean taylor destroys that slot receiver and causes him to miss that catch.

There's nothing for us to complain about, the 'boys choked. Simple as that, we didn't do things we needed to, and didn't take control when we should have. That being said, or all the heartbreakers the Cowboys have and will hand the Slurs, this sort of thing is bound to happen every once and a while.

Sometimes a team overcomes amazing odds to win a game in the final minutes. But for the Skins to stab a dagger in the heart of Texas on the night of Aikman, Smith and Irvin ring of fame ceremony. PRICELESS.

Cowboy fans crack me up but they do not want to talk about the second game now, that was domination !!! it could have been a shut out our defense gave up a cheap touch down after the fact the game was well in hands..

They didn't dominate for most of that game. It was a total stalemate for most of the game, and the points all came on 5 big plays (2 Moss TDs; Newman interception into field goal range; 70 yard flea flicker to Glenn for a TD; and the 43 yard pass to Glenn into field goal range).

The only difference was that their big plays were more spread out and came earlier in the game. That and their big plays only got them 13 points, while ours got us 14 points.
