BraveWarrior
I think the fact that the Redskins have to travel to Seattle is not as big a deal as lot of people are saying. First of, they are traveling from east to west. Jet lag usually occurs in travelers going west to east. Secondly, they don't travel like most of us do. They meet at the facility, get driven right to the airport, get on their charter and go. No baggage check, no waiting in lines, no chance of missing a connecting flight, etc. And when they get to Seattle, they get driven right to a nice hotel, which will be like every other hotel they've stayed in for every other road game this season. Does anyone know how long the actual flight is from DC to Seattle?
skins4eva
They're also going out on Thursday, so they'll have all of friday to get acclimated.
portisizzle
This is my thought as well. I do not understand why the travel is an impediment to success on the football field. Today there was a chat on ESPN where the guy was saying the team would be hurt by the travel. Mind you I have traveled to Seattle and Vancouver once each. But both times it was not a big deal. What I do remember was the flight back was a problem from a sleeping standpoint. I just don't get it..
Kosher Ham
Does anyone know how long the actual flight is from DC to Seattle? Non-stop from Dulles to Seattle is a little over 4 and a half hours.
SlinginSammy HOF '63
Travel factor is ridiculous. They're going to sit on a plane and take a nap for 4 hours. It's not like this is 1906 and they're taking a train cross country.
