Washington Redskins

Mark Brunell was pretty much written off a year ago. They've done some things to help him out with some play-makers around him, and changed their running game to an extent, and even have gone to the shot-gun. But Brunell is back to his old self. He's not the scrambler he once was in Jacksonville, but he's a guy who can lead that team to a Super Bowl. I think Washington is one of the most disruptive teams in the playoffs. If there's any team that can go to Tampa and go to Seattle and win, it's the Redskins. They're probably the third strongest team in the NFC right now. ...

Santana Moss has made plays all year. They throw him screens, they throw him the posts when he's double covered, they throw him every route you can think of. He's unbelievable making yards after the catch. Getting him was one of the league's best offseason moves. ...

Chris Cooley just makes plays. He some one you've got to keep your eyes on at all times, especially in the red zone area. ...

You never know what you're going to get from a Gregg Williams defense. It's hard to make certain line calls against them, because he creates havoc in your protection schemes. Washington's lucky to have him back with that extension. ...

Marcus Washington is a human wrecking ball. He takes a block as well as anyone, and makes things happen out there. You have to account for him with an extra tight end if he's coming, and he just makes the whole thing go for that defense. And in the back, Sean Taylor is another play-maker you have to be aware of at all times.

You know, reading this whole article, it really jumps out at you how strong these playoffs are, from top to bottom. There's no Green Bay/Minnesota/Seattle/Denver/Jets of last year type teams that are just in it for filler. All 12 teams have a legitimate chance to make it to the Super Bowl, IMO. The weakest team, by popular consensous, is the Jaguars, and they went 12-4 this year!

Rawk?

That's hot.

Seriously, I think it's like the collective noise made when teammates chew up an opponent and then regurgitate their bones for the young players to feed on.

You know: here comes Taylor.... gobble gobble. There goes Simms. Then: rawk! Let the rookies nibble on what's left. Like what birds do.
