TheGreek1973
AFC WC Round: Pats over Jags; Stillers over 'GalsNFC WC Round: Skins over Bucs; Jints over Cats AFC Div Round: Colts over Pitt; Pats over Broncs NFC Div Round: Bears over Jints; Skins over Hawks (Gibbs goes where Norv couldn't) AFC Championship: Colts over Pats NFC Championship: Bears over Skins (JG owns Soldier Field in playoffs but we have to give him something to build on for next year Super Bowl XL: Colts 30 Bears 13 I will tell you one thing. If we make it in the NFC championship game with the Bears NO WAY we lose. NO WAY. By that time Rogers-Springs should be healthy and our D will eat that very average Bear offense for breakfast. The key for us making the SB is to win next week and get our CBs back healthy for the next 2 games. If we win next week and get healthy, without being a homer, we are the best team in the NFC IMO. DaveP666
But will the Colts have a field day against us? It would be a helluva match to see.
DaveP666
Over in the NFC, Washington has lit up the scoreboard and is averaging over 28 points a contest during its five-game winning streak. Mark Brunell seems fine after his knee sprain against the Giants in Week 16. However, he faces a defense as dominant as his own in Tampa Bay. But the temperature is sure to be in the 70s, so weather won't factor into the game. This one could come down to which team makes that one big play. Loxley
Quoted from nfl.com Davep666, i thought you were supposed to link those articles for fear of plaguerism. I havent had a chance to properly digest yesterdays game yet, was Brunell as bad as his stat line looked? Can we beat the bucs? I mean the last effort came down to one play but with the playoffs on the line and our beat up secondary i think we can win but it will be close. bigredone
Brunell was defintely off , but he only really practiced on Friday...but as it has shown for the last few years in the NFL, if you play decent and don't make mistakes @ Quaterback...Like Brunell did yesterday, you always put your team in a position to win....I thought Mark managed the game pretty well , outside of the high passes , especially the ones to Cooley

Simmsm88
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=gallo/060102 Washington at Tampa BayTampa Bay scores on its first drive thanks to Washington linebacker LaVar Arrington missing his assignments so badly he's actually flagged twice for pass interference on Jon Gruden. Joe Gibbs then pulls Arrington from the game and leaves him chained in the locker room shower alongside Patrick Ramsey. With Arrington out of the way, Washington's defense takes over, forcing Chris Simms into multiple turnovers on the way to a 17-7 halftime lead. This causes Gruden to scrunch up his face. Looking for a spark, Gruden pulls Simms for Major Applewhite and the Buccaneers immediately respond with a touchdown to pull within 17-14. This causes Gruden to scrunch up his face. The Redskins don't allow Tampa Bay to get any closer, however, and hold on for a 24-17 victory. This causes Jon Gruden to scrunch up his face. DCNightHawk
I think the skins will go all the way to superbowl XL. We have already proven we can beat the Bucs, Hawks, and Bears. We can do this, all the way to Detroit!!!
jaw3232
The NFC is close. The difference between Sea or Chi vs Was or Car is minimal. By the way, the Jags take out the Pats.

Thiebear
All that matters: (Defense wins in the Playoffs this year). Redskins over the Bucs tough game but the Bucs play the same way and they haven't beat a top 10 team this year... (ours being a travesty of justice). Redskins over Seattle tough game but we'll be (semi-healthy). Redskins over Da Bears much better game (healthy) Will need more to see if we can beat Indy in the SB ... (looking for the luck quotient)
