Capt'n Obvious
Put us ahead of the Bengals, it is amazing how much analysts flip-flop, at the beginning of the season Jackson didn't think the Skins were for real, now he has them in his top 10. :eaglesuck
SUNSTONE
That's a fair statement.
herrmag
That is the worst top 10 I think I've seen yet this year. We're ahead of the Bengals? Are you kidding me? This guy has a serious case of short-term memory.
gstahl
Also a bit further down... "Offensive player of the week Redskins WR Santana Moss. Moss celebrated his first Pro Bowl invite by catching five passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns as Washington closed in on a playoff berth with a 35-20 win over the Giants." Ignatius J.
It's not the analysts that are schizo, it's the redskins. We are a really good team right now. We just beat two teams that would be playoff teams had we lost to them. Before we had lost (at home) to oakland. That's a bad team. How can you blame analysts for merely keeping a barometer of where teams are? you guys think we couldn't win a home game against the bengals? If so, then it's a really a coin toss on who you think is better.

That idiot Salisbury was saying things like "the 'Skins are fading, just like I thought they would." Funny how he's not saying that now. Or, better yet, how Jason She-horn and some other dunce were stating that the 'Skins were "done." Maybe Jason outta stick to doing his underwear commercials and keeping his wife from doing nude scenes in movies.

Instead, the "analysts" just kind of ignored that it ever happened.

fdarugar
I don't agree with the Skins higher than the Bengals but I can see that we are in the same class or even better than the Jags.
DCNightHawk
yah, how bout them skins baby!. I bet none of these espn sportswriters thought they would have the skins ranked this high this late in the year. We showed them. HTTR!!!!
wahoos911
think about it, why couldnt we beat cincy? if you focus just on our little late streak, we both have comparable offenses and the defense is no comparison and if your a true fan your supposed to say we're a better team than anybody, even if we were 0-15... well you get my point *sigh*
NapTown
You have to take what you can get from old T.J. It is very hard for the Skins to get any props from Tom... I think he's still mad about the Redskins putting the "Ultimate Super Bowl Beatdown" on his beloved Broncos. January 31, 1988
Art
The Redskins have been better than people have been able to come to grips with all year. And we've grown some on the job, thoroughly dominating good teams even in losses caused more by our own errors than superiority on the other side. As we have seen those errors decrease and our ability to create more errors in the opponents increase, we've started to achieve greater, more consistent results. It's not there yet. It's getting there.
