REDPepper
Joe Jurevicius. He has proven himself as capable with multiple teams, although he may lack in speed, he has the ability to catch almost anything that comes his way (a problem we clearly have) and he is a BIG man standing in at 6-5 230 lbs... I honestly cant think of many better fits for us than him... AND MOST OF ALL, he's an FA What do you think?
fdarugar
The only thing I don't like about him is he will be 31 next season. But he would be a good accquisition this offseason.
DieselPwr44
I like that idea. I also like that he may not "break the bank" as far as a contract goes.:2cents:

REDPepper
exactley, i honestly dont see a problem, especially with the age, as he seems to just keep getting better each year
HailYeah
Not a bad idea. If we go for a Reggie Wayne, we are gonna get robbed.
REDPepper
Not a bad idea. If we go for a Reggie Wayne, we are gonna get robbed. seriously, we'll have to significantly overpay him, and without manning stokely james and harrison on teh same field, he clearly wont be as good... id be kidna disappointed if we get wayne for the price we'd be paying
Lil Kenzo
I to think that we should go for Joe. wayne is great too but he's just too expensive. Joe has the size and the hands and is proven.
fdarugar
The best WR in FA for this team will be Antonio Bryant.
RIDETHEWALRUS
Joe might command more $ than you expect. Though he isclearly not an elite WR, alot of teams are interested in his size and hands. If we can get it done though I will be siest.
Goaldeje
The best WR in FA for this team will be Antonio Bryant. Surely you meant Rod Gardner? I love Jurevicious. Good, hard worker, tremendous pickup. I would have to think that he wouldn't be that expensive.
SkinsTillIDie
I beat ya to the punch, in this thread however http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130896&page=2&pp=40 Joe Jurevicius is exactly the type of reciever we need. He's huge (6'5, 230), a great team guy who is used to being the role player, and a "Joe Gibbs player." He's a proven vet who won't cost much, already has 7 touchdowns, and would be that big target that we desperately need.We don't need, nor can we afford, a big name like Reggie Wayne. Jurevicious would fit right into our system, and has proven that he can pick up an offense quite quickly. I would be very happy with a recieving corps of Moss, Jurevicius, Patten, Thrash, and Jacobs. Lombardi's_kid_brother
He's a pretty good receiver, but he is getting up there in age. Once receivers reach 30, you are playing with fire.
CalSkinsFan
Never even thought of Jurevicius, but I would like to see it happen. At the very least he would add reliable veteran depth for a modest price tag. Everywhere he goes, he seems to make that team better. Doesn't seem to have injury problems either, afaik. Techincally, all receivers are one hit away from the end of their career. And receivers seem to be a huge crap shoot in free agency. In some ways, I would feel better about bring in Jurevicious rather than Wayne. I mean, you know what Jurevicious can do as we has played in a lot of systems with a lot of QBs. Reggie Wayne is going to break the bank and who knows if he can play outside without Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison.
EnFoRcEr_uPu
I agree it would be a nice pick-up, but he is too much of an asset to their receiving core. I think he has 1/2 of the entire team's receiving TD's. So I can't really see Seattle not wanting to re-sign him.

But still after comparing all the FA WR's I think Antonio Bryant would be the best, cap wise, his skill-set, the fact that he has been consistant and his age are all very intriguing to me as a FA. TODD
He'll be cashing in. I wouldn't be averse, but his price might be high with the numbers he is putting up. Most importantly, I think he'll be a Seahawk next year... he's the first guy they've had that can catch in years.
G-Prime
31 isn't that old for a receiver like him. He's got 4 good years atleast playing at the level he currently is.
